The September 2025 releases of Dentrix include the following features:

Family File
- You can now view the new Family File window in a “condensed” view.
Dentrix Imaging
- The Dentrix Imaging window has been modified to be more intuitive and easier to use.
- The Imaging panel and the Imaging toolbar icons were modified.
Miscellaneous Features
- The Active Provider and Inactive Patients and/or Providers filters no longer reset when you close and then reopen the Signature Manager.
- The panels in the Office Journal now have minimum size restrictions.
- A Search box was added to the Medications tab in the Health History Setup dialog box.
- You can now generate a Patient Forms QR code that your patients can scan while they are in your office to complete or begin a form.
- The Claim Status Notes dialog box has been redesigned. (Beta only)
- A new permission (View Guarantor Payments) was added to the Setup User Permissions dialog box.
- If you have enabled passwords, you can now run a new report called Practice Treatment Case Status Totals.
- Your patients without insurance can now scan a QR code to view insurance options from DentalPlans.
Bug Fixes
- When the insurance subscriber provides dependent coverage and is not a family member, box 18 of the insurance claim incorrectly displays “SELF” instead of “OTHER.” (25.17)
- When the entitlement feature was inactive, practices were incorrectly routed to Dentrix Forms. (25.17)
- Pressing the Tab key, incorrectly navigated the toolbar buttons instead of navigating through the controls on the Family File cards. (25.17)
- In the Treatment Planner, when you clicked the Update Case Status toolbar button, and then clicked Follow-Up Made or Proposed, the Reason in the Update Current Case Status dialog box was not saved. (25.17)
- When the report for uninsured patients was printed, the DentalPlans QR code and phone number did not appear on the printout. (25.17)
- The Primary Provider search in the New Patient dialog box was not performing searches correctly. (25.18)
- When you added insurance to a patient in the new Family File, the Insurance Information dialog box incorrectly defaulted to the Medical Insurance tab instead of the Dental Insurance tab. (25.18)
- In Dentrix 25.16, the Appointment Book stopped responding when the Missing Payer Connections warning message appeared. (25.18)
- If you used multiple monitors, the new Family File sometimes incorrectly opened without appearing on any monitor. (25.18)
- After some practices upgraded Dentrix, the online scheduler no longer wrote the patient’s phone number to Jarvis. (25.18)
