What's New in Dentrix

The newest version of Dentrix include these features:

Patient Payment Report

This new Patient Payments Report will generate a report listing the patient’s payments that were applied during a date range.

You can find this report in Dentrix Reports. In the Office Manager, click the Analysis menu, then select Dentrix Reports.


Miscellaneous Features

  • The American Dental Association’s CDT Update is included with this release. (It was available as a separate update for some earlier versions)
  • To help you identify which user is currently logged onto Dentrix, the user’s name will appear in the menu bar of the Chart, Perio Chart, Office Journal, and Document Center.
  • Some support utilities are now enabled to run on the Demo database.

Bug Fixes

  • Pressing F1 in Health History will now launching the help file.
  • Corrections have been made to allow the Practice Goals Analysis Report, Schedule Summary Report, and Scheduled Production Forecast Report to run when Time Block names contain two spaces.
  • Splitting a claim now resets the claim status to “Created” so that the split claims no longer appear as if they have been sent.
  • The Electronic Rx User button now appears in the Staff Information setup window.
  • Changed the text label for the Questionnaire PI Spouse/Responsible Party to say “Patient Name” instead of just “Patient”
  • Logging added to help identify a reported issue “JPG Not found” when sending claims with perio attachments.
  • Changed the sequence of the Tab key within the Itemize Insurance Payment Window.
  • When a second workstations connects to the Demo database, it will not change appointment or transaction dates.
  • Corrected an issue where the New Patient designation (“NP”) repeated on future continuing care appointments.
  • Checks for appropriate user password permissions when deleting or archiving patients from the Unscheduled New Patient List in the Appointment List.
