The Dentrix 24.4 and 24.5 releases includes these features:

Miscellaneous Features

Staff Limit Increases
You can now create up to 10,000 staff members (previous limit was 250). (24.4)

Simplified Installations
The “Another Database Has Been Detected” and the Dentrix API Update dialog boxes have been removed from the update installation process. These processes now occur automatically in the background and no longer require user interaction. (24.4)

Quick Access to Patient Forms
A new button on the toolbar provides easy access to the Patient Forms solution. Clicking the “Patient Forms” button will open your web browser and direct you to the Dentrix Communications website. (24.5)

Bug Fixes

  • Disabled the ability to create patient and family alerts for archived patients using the Office Journal. (24.4)
  • You can now split a primary claim more than once. (24.4)
  • The “Find New Appointment Time” feature will no longer show as filled time in the results. (24.4)
  • Archived non-patients with future appointments will now have their future appointments archived. (24.4)
  • Corrected an issue that prevented entering a payment on an account with a $0.00 account balance. (24.4)
  • Resolved an issue where, due to an invalid bearer token, acknowledgements were not being sent or logged for ERAs. (24.4)
  • Corrected an issue where installation tools were attempting to run from the wrong folders. (24.4)
  • The “Choose one of the existing family plans” button no longer moves position when display scaling is set higher than 100%. (24.4)
  • Resolved a chart crash that was a result of the Select patient window sharing the same resource. (24.4)
  • In the Procedure Code Editor dialog box, made the trimming of fields more consistent within the dialog box (where spaces are used at the beginning or ending of information). (24.5)
  • When secondary insurance is assigned after the primary claim has been created, the relationship to the subscriber is now correctly applied. (24.5)
  • Resolved an issue where, while entering a procedure code, if you switched procedures from one requiring quadrant information to one requiring arch information, the window was not updating to correctly display the arch selection options. (24.5)
  • Corrected an issue where claim status notes were missing when eTrans was not correctly set up. (24.5)
  • After splitting a primary claim, claim status notes and attachments appear on both claims. (24.5)
  • Using the Workstation Setup feature, when you save a workstation setting with multiple Appointment Book views and then select that workstation setting, Dentrix will no longer default to a view of all operatories and providers. (24.5)
  • While using the More Information dialog box to double-click an appointment, corrected an issue that was not directing attention to the selected appointment. (24.5)
  • Resolved an issue with the CDT Update Utility leaving a status that the install was still “in progress” after it had ended. (24.5)
  • Can now correctly scroll through large adjustment notes when the adjustment transaction has a history status. (24.5)
