The March 2026 releases of Dentrix include the following features:

Family File (Beta)

  • The redesigned Family File is now available for all Beta offices to view and try out. We invite your feedback.

Ledger Beta)

  • The redesigned Ledger is available to a limited number of Beta offices to view and try out. We invite your feedback.

Claims Manager (Beta)

  • A banner in the redesigned Claims Manager window provides a link to learn more about submitting and tracking claims in Dentrix with eClaims.
  • Claim tracking statuses appear in real-time.

Forms

  • You can now resend forms to patients whether they have a future scheduled appointment or not.
  • The tooltip for the Send Reminder button in the Forms dialog box was updated to read, “Resend Forms that are Not Started.”

Dentrix Imaging

  • You can now compare two, four, or six X-rays side by side enabling you to more easily evaluate changes over time with number and color indicators. For more information, please refer to Comparing images in the Dentrix Help.
  • The font size of the date in the image header was increased to be more readable.
  • The vertical size of the procedure menu was increased to reduce scrolling.
  • Support for workstation-level settings was added via the Acquisition Agent. Workstation settings apply to all users on a specific workstation.

Bug Fixes

  • The Dental Insurance Carriers and Subscribers report stopped responding if the Family Deductible Met was over $1000 in two of the three categories. (26.4)
  • As of February 1, 2026, CareCredit ended its support of Internet Explorer, so CareCredit no longer functioned in Dentrix. (26.4)
  • An error appeared if you set a procedure to complete in the Appointment Book or if you tried to post the procedure to the Ledger after changing the procedure status from treatment-planned to complete. (26.4)
  • If a patient did not have a clinical note for the current date, the Appointment Book stopped responding when you set the patient’s appointment to complete. (26.4)
  • The Appointment Book did not refresh automatically when you set an appointment to complete. (26.4)
  • The Clinical Notes Print button was incorrectly disabled. (26.5)
  • Errors sometimes appeared incorrectly because browser controls had not been updated. (26.5)
  • Upgrading to the latest version of Dentrix was sometimes slower than usual and incorrectly requested a reboot. (26.5)
  • Changing a patient’s emergency contact sometimes failed. (26.5)
  • The eligibility expiration date was automatically and incorrectly set to the year 2225. (26.5)
  • In Dentrix Imaging, performance issues occurred under heavy load leading to a restart loop. (26.5)
  • During a Dentrix install, the DEXIS connector was inadvertently removed. (26.5)
  • After images were rotated, Dentia AI results were applied incorrectly after resubmission. (26.5)
  • You were unable to reassign a 3D volume after taking a snapshot. (26.5)
  • When you acquired a PSP exam, the first image was counted twice. (26.5)
  • The Feature Flags tab was misaligned. (26.5)
  • You were unable to finish an acquisition until results were returned for image review or the process timed out. (26.5)
  • If you closed the Videa side panel, the X-ray did not resize. (26.5)
  • If you closed the Videa side panel, the X-ray did not re-center in the expanded panel. (26.5)
  • An error message continued to display after the More Options dialog box was closed. (26.5)
  • The AJAX error message appeared without reason. (26.5)
  • When exams were reassigned, the patient list displayed the incorrect exam count. (26.5)
